AAG ‘Academy Meet’ set for tomorrow at Eve Leary Ground

An ‘Academy Meet’ is set to run off tomorrow and is the product of a collaboration between the Athletics Association of Guyana (AAG) and the National Sports Commission (NSC) from 10:00am at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary, Georgetown.

Teams from Linden, New Amsterdam, West Berbice, East Bank, and East Coast Demerara, along with Georgetown, will head into action and pit athletes between the ages of six and twelve together. According to the AAG, the meeting’s objective is to “steer them in the right direction.”
