After the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force batsmen, led by Jason Mohamed’s marathon 100 not out made the Guyana Harpy Eagles bowlers sweat on day one, persistent showers of rain prevented any further action on day two of their first round encounter in the West Indies Four-Day Championship.

The players were unable to taking the field at the Conaree Sports Club due to persistent rainfall, which inundated playing surface.

The umpires called off the day’s play just before lunch. At the conclusion of day one, the Red Force had accumulated 215/4, with Jason Mohammed’s 12th first class century the highlight of the Red Force innings thus far while Tion Webster shared in a century stand with him, making 50 in the process.
