President Irfaan Ali today expressed condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of the renowned Guyanese singer, Mohan Nandu, who recently passed away.
In a message he said: “Mohan was an exceptional singer who toured extensively across Guyana, Suriname, the wider Caribbean and North America for over five decades.
“He was known for his selfless contributions to the entertainment industry, community, charity, as well as cultural and religious events, which have impacted many lives.
With his passing, the Guyanese music industry has lost a true gem. May his soul rest in peace”.
