Briton John wins Beacon 40-Mile Road Race

Briton John retained his title as he peddled to victory in the Beacon 40-Mile Road Race

United We Stand cyclist Briton John, coincidentally defending champion of the Beacon 40-Mile Road Race, stormed to victory yesterday morning to retain his title, as he was followed in a 2-6 formation by teammates Aaron Newton, youngster Alexander Leung, Evolution’s Christopher Griffith, Segun Hubbard, and Andre ‘Padlock’ Green.

Briton John faced little to no challenges and stormed to victory in an hour and a half. In the other categories, Alexander Newton was the number one juvenile, while Julio Melville was the first mountain biker.

The Master’s U-50 saw heated competition, with Segun Hubbard edging Robin Persaud to the finish line.
