Kwakwani and Georgetown B won the men’s and women’s divisional titles, respectively, when the Guyana Basketball Federation (GBF) 3×3 Championship concluded on Sunday evening at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
In the men’s final, Kwakwani bested East Bank Demerara 17-11 to walk away with the first-place prize of $100,000 and the championship trophy.
In the women’s final, Georgetown B defeated Kwakwani 7-6.
With the win, Georgetown B pocketed $50,000 and the corresponding accolade.
