Following the conclusion of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) transfer window, a total of 131 players have moved between the 10 Elite League clubs ahead of the tournament’s start on Sunday, with Santos acquiring 23 players during this period.
This was disclosed in an official release from the Guyana Football Federation (GFF). According to the correspondence, Santos acquired the most players during this one-month window, with the quartet of the Guyana Police Force, Western Tigers, Fruta Conquerors, and Anns Grove registering 16 new players each.
Meanwhile, the defending champion, the Guyana Defence Force (GDF), improved their roster with the acquisition of 13 players. They are followed by Buxton United, who added 12, while Den Amstel and newcomers Monedderlust and Slingerz FC secured seven, seven, and five players, respectively.
