Tyreece Gonsalves, a 21-year-old labourer of Parika Backdam, East Bank Essequibo was remanded to prison last Monday on two counts of burglary.
The police said the incidents occurred between February 15th and February 16, 2024 and the complainants were Hemant Persaud and Mahendra Narine both of Middlesex, Essequibo Coast.
Gonsalves appeared at the Charity Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Esther Sam, where the charges were read to him and he was not required to plead.
No application was made by the prosecutor, and the accused was remanded to prison. Both cases were adjourned to March 8, at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court for report.
