Guyana’s 2023 Horse of the Year, Spankhurst, won the feature event at the Jumbo Jet Racing Thoroughbred Committee ‘Mashramani’ Race Meet at the Rising Sun Turf Club yesterday.
Spankhurst led from the start and relegated East Time to the runner-up position, while Bossalina completed the top three. Finishing in fourth place was stolen money.
Meanwhile, in the NM Trucking Auto Sales G Class and lower 1400-metre event, She WBO on Time emerged victorious while Coup D’état, Regal Intention, and Game Changer finished in second, third, and fourth place, respectively.
