US State Dep’t official meets opposition leaders

Yesterday, Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Brian A. Nichols (centre) met with opposition party leaders — Aubrey Norton (third from left) of A Partnership for National Unity, Khemraj Ramjattan (right) of the Alliance For Change, and Dr. Asha Kissoon (third from right) of The New Movement Party — to discuss strong U.S. support for Guyana’s territorial integrity and shared democratic values and emphasis on citizen security, a release from the US Embassy said.
