Tabatinga, Paiwomak win men’s, women’s titles in RDC football

Tabatinga and Paiwomak were crowned the men’s and women’s champions following wins in the respective divisional finals when the RDC Republic Football Cup concluded on Saturday evening at the Wadapna Sports Ground.

Tabatinga downed the Massara Strikers 2-0. On the other hand, Paiwomak squeaked past the Potarinau Sky Kings 2-1. On the individual side, Carlos Isaacs of Tabatinga was adjudged the Most Valuable Player (MVP) and the Highest Goal Scorer, while Djarlie Gomes of Paiwomak Warriors copped the MVP and Highest Goal Scorer accolades of the women’s segment.
