Kevin Massiah, a 22-year-old carpenter of Charlestown, Georgetown was arrested on Tuesday with 11.4 grammes of cannabis and charged yesterday with the offence of possession of narcotics.
The defendant appeared at the Golden Grove Magistrate’s Court before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman where the charge was read to him.
He pleaded guilty and was fined $30,000 and sentenced to five hours of community service.
