The mother of Eon Holder, the victim of the Bourda Market fatal shooting last Saturday, is demanding justice for her son.
The bereaved woman, 69-year-old Muriel Holder, told Stabroek News on Wednesday that she is still coming to grips with the fact that her son is no longer with her. “Police told me nothing. They said they are not seeing no face in the footage that it is blurry [and] that was since last week. They still have not called me back.”
A tearful Holder said she needs justice for her child while recounting the last day she spoke to her son. “The 19th of February was the last time we spoke. He was doing some construction and he came home to ask for some food and he bought me a juice. The next time I saw my son he was lying on the ground.”
