Dear Editor,
The public road from Lethem to South Rupununi was given some scraping making it smooth which gives a comfortable ride for drivers. This road “improvement” done by relevant authorities is a great job up to Katoonarib. However, the other leg which continues to Aishalton and beyond, is left uncomplete and people want to know what is happening. Will the road to Aishalton remain the same way? Can’t authorities tap into some of the oil money to get this part of the road done since the dry season is still on? Editor, getting this leg of the public road completed would bring relief to drivers and motorists travelling to Aishalton with less bumpy rides and tiring trips which also damage our vehicles.
Sincerely,
Medino Abraham
