Windsor Forest ‘A’, West Demerara, and All Youths recorded contrasting wins when the West Demerara Cricket Association sanctioned ‘Jits and Neelam’ 40-over Cricket Championship continued on Sunday.
Windsor Forest ‘A’ thrashed the Meten-Meer-Zorg Defenders by 206 runs at the Canal Sports Club ground. Batting first, Windsor Forest ‘A’ amassed 269/9 in their 40 overs. Sachin Balgobin tallied 100 (13x4s, 1×6). It was his second consecutive century in the event.
Balgobin was supported by Chaitram Nauth, Deoram Chanderbir, Kellon Tracey, and Arvin Suknanan, who scored 31, 30, 29, and 20 runs apiece.
