Scores of Barticians received their house lots and Land Titles at the Bartica Community Centre Ground yesterday, according to a release from the Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA).
Additionally, Steel and Cement Housing Subsidy vouchers were distributed to qualified landowners. The subsidy is the brainchild of President Irfaan Ali, to provide support in the form of building materials for Guyanese seeking to construct their homes, whether on government allocated or private lands, the release said.
Residents with housing and water issues were also able to meet with Minister Collin Croal and CH&PA CEO, Sherwyn Greaves and other senior officials to have these matters addressed.
