Riddim Squad, Vengy, and Beacons recorded contrasting wins when the Georgetown Football Association’s (GFA) ‘Black History Month’ Pre-Season Championship continued on Sunday evening at the Georgetown Football Club (GFC), Bourda.
Riddim Squad overcame Santos 2-1. Ulric Stewart and Dorville Stewart found the back of the net, respectively, for the victor. On target in the loss was Carlos Grant. In a similar fashion, Vengy squeaked past Genesis 1-0. Francisco Hernandez recorded the only conversion of the encounter.
Meanwhile, the Beacons bested GFC 2-0. Also, Black Pearl and Eastveldt played to a scoreless affair.
