Wazir Asgar, a 29-year-old driver; Ramdat Alfred, a 46-year-old farmer and Naresh Alfred, a 23-year-old farmer, all from Martyrs Ville, Mon Repos, ECD, were arrested on 2024-03-10 by a rank from the Beterverwagting Police Station and charged jointly yesterday with the offence of simple larceny.
The three accused appeared at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Fabayo Azore where the charge was read to them.
They pleaded not guilty and were placed on $75,000 bail each. The matter was adjourned to 15th April 2024 for report.
