Michael Alphonso, Safirah Sumner, and Shiloh Asregado recorded convincing wins in the group stage when the Woodpecker Products Squash Championship continued last evening at the Georgetown Club Facility on Camp Street.
Alphonso crushed Louis Da Silva 11-3, 11-3, and 11-1 in the boy’s U-19 division. Also, Asregado made light work of Justin Ten Pow in the boy’s U-17 segment, prevailing 11-4, 11-2, and 11-6. Meanwhile, in the girl’s U-19 section, Sumner downed Rylee Rodrigues 11-8, 12-10, and 11-9.
