Keon Norville, a 30-year-old cattle farmer of Lot 4 Vigilance, East Coast Demerara, was arrested on
2024/03/05 and charged on 2024-03-13 by ranks of the Vigilance Police Station with two counts of firing a gun with intent.
The police said yesterday that he is accused of committing the offences against Kenya Stoby and Donna Simon.
The accused appeared on Wednesday at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court before Senior Magistrate Fabayo Azore where the charges were read to him. He pleaded not guilty to both charges and was placed on $150,000 bail each. The matter was adjourned to 22nd April 2024.
In addition to the above-mentioned charges, Norville, also answered two other charges on Wednesday when he appeared before Magistrate Orinthia Schmidt at the Vigilance Magistrate’s Court.
He was charged with assault against Kwesi Daniels and possession of ammunition without a licence.
He pleaded not guilty and was placed on $25,000 bail for the assault charge and $45,000 for the ammunition charge. The matter was adjourned to 24th April 2024.
