Castrol Strikers thrashed Classic Ball Blasters 3-0 when the Demerara Volleyball Association’s (DVA) Senior Men’s League continued last night at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
The tone of the contest was established, as the first set ended 25–14. The dominance continued in the second stanza, as the Castrol Strikers secured a 2-0 advantage after winning 25-13. The victory was then sealed in the third set as the Castrol Strikers prevailed 25-14.
The tournament continues today at the same venue with another set of fixtures.
