Dear Editor,
It gets more bizarre daily. First cop fatally shot by colleague, being deemed unintentional, an accident and ‘friendly fire’. But the cop was shot thrice. How is that friendly or accidental? Just what led to a shooting described as friendly and accidental shooting becoming deadly is the question? How could a shooting ever be friendly? These were supposed to be highly trained and experienced operatives, part of a special joint services team, searching for the prison escapee. Not frolicking with unintentional, friendly and accidental shooting, with deadly consequences, of one of its own.
My condolences to the grieving family.
Then misleading billboards it seems are allowed to stand with a soft approach to having them corrected. This has gone on for too long and the company should do the right thing.
Again, another cop is under attack by fellow colleagues in a case, it is alleged, of mistaken identity (SN Mar 16).
What next?
