Fruta Conquerors defeated Monedderlust by a 2-0 score when the KFC Elite League resumed on Saturday evening at the National Training Centre, Providence.
A conversion was recorded on either side of the half-time interval. Makhaya Jarvis opened the scoring in the fifth minute for the Tucville-based outfit. The result was then sealed in the 66th minute, as Shamar Barnes found the back of the net.
Meanwhile, Den Amstel and Anns Grove played to a 1-1 stalemate. The event continues tomorrow at the same venue with another round of matches.
