Kevin Liverpool, a 24-year-old labourer from Sparendaam, East Coast Demerara, was arrested on Saturday and charged yesterday with the offence of possession of a narcotic, the police said.
The defendant appeared at the Sparendaam Magistrate’s Court #2 before Magistrate Abigail Gibbs, where the charge was read to him. He pleaded not guilty and was remanded to prison. The matter was adjourned to April 26th, 2024.
