Guyana ended their inaugural campaign in the FIFA Series with a resounding thrashing of lowly Cambodia, winning by a 4-1 score-line in their international friendly yesterday at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Guyana’s starting XI comprised Quillan Roberts, Liam Gordon, Jeremy Garrett, Jalen Jones, Curtez Kellman, Leo Lovell, Stephen Duke-McKenna, Elliot Bonds, Nathan Ferguson, Kadell Daniels, and Omari Glasgow.
Fresh off winning the CONCACAF Nations League Top Scorer and Best Young Player accolades, Glasgow led the rout with a double, increasing his personal tally to 16 conversions in 22 outings for the programme and, in the process, moving two goals short of equaling Nigel Codington’s record.
