Timehri Panthers, Cougars, and Ithaca recorded contrasting wins when the Easter Cup Football Championship continued on Monday evening at the Paradise Ground, West Coast Berbice.
The Timehri Panthers squeaked past the Paradise Invaders 1-0. Akeem James found the back of the net in the 18th minute. Similarly, the Cougars defeated Herstelling 1-0. Ray Reddock scored in the 53rd minute to separate the teams.
Meanwhile, Ithaca downed Hopetown 1-0. The combination of Omario Gabriel and Jennick Gittens found the back of the net in the 10th and 17th minutes, respectively.
