The Guyana Amateur Powerlifting Federation (GAPLF) will stage its annual general meeting (AGM) on Saturday, April 13th, at the National Racquet Centre, Woolford Avenue, and Camp Street.
This was confirmed by a press release from the entity. According to the correspondence, the forum will feature the staging of the electoral congress and the presentation of the audited financial statements.
The release stated, “This would be the first AGM under the presidency of Franklin Wilson, who took over the helm of the Federation in March 2023. Apart from the election of a new executive, the presentation of the audited financial statement, which has not been done for many years, would be done by Treasurer Maxwell Denny. Reports from the President and General Secretary, Roger Rogers, will also be tabled. The AGM will be called to order at 9:00am.”
