Laing Avenue sealed their place in the semi-final round of the Guinness ‘Greatest of the Streets’ Georgetown Championship, defeating the Lodge All-Stars 2-0 yesterday at the National Park Tarmac, Thomas Lands.
Laing Avenue prevailed with two first-half goals from Bevney Marks. Up until press time, the other three quarterfinal fixtures were underway. The semi-final segment, the plate section, and the eventual championship encounter will be staged today at the same venue.
