The Ministry of Agriculture is currently seeking consulting services for the final evaluation of the Sustainable Agriculture Development Programme (SADP). This programme, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank, aims to increase agricultural productivity in a sustainable and climate-resilient manner in Guyana.
In a “Request for Expression of Interest” notice posted in yesterday’s paper, the ministry explained that the consultancy services will involve assessing the relevance, effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of the SADP. The evaluation will focus on the programme’s impact on enhancing agricultural productivity, promoting sustainable resource management, and economic growth.
