Police arrest Santos 2-0 in KFC Elite League

The Guyana Police Force (GPF) maintained their perfect record in the KFC Elite League, arresting Santos 2-0 on Tuesday evening at the National Training Centre, Providence.

It was the sixth consecutive victory for the lawmen, as the contest was effectively settled in the first half via two unanswered goals. Nicholas MacArthur broke the deadlock as he found the back of the net in the 17th minute.

Neron Barrow sealed the eventual result as he etched his name on the scorer’s sheet in the 35th minute. The tournament continues today at the same venue with another round of matches.
