A 23-year-old man was on Thursday arrested at his Good Hope, East Coast Demerara home with some 107.32 grammes of marijuana.
According to a release from the police, the home of Alvin Roland was searched and a parcel containing a quantity of leaves, seeds, and stems suspected to be cannabis was found in a cupboard. He was told of the offence committed, cautioned and arrested.
The release said ranks also took possession of a black motorcycle which was found at the residence. He was placed in custody at Vigilance Police Station.
The narcotic was weighed and it amounted to 107.32 grammes. Roland remains in custody and is slated to be charged.
