Eagles dismantled Classic Ball Blasters (CBB) when the Demerara Volleyball Association’s (DVA) Senior Men’s League continued last evening at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
It was a lopsided affair as the Eagles stormed to a 3-0 win. Meanwhile, on Wednesday, the Alphas downed the Vanguards 3-0. The first set ended 25-11, and while Vanguards did improve their performance in the second stanza, Alphas prevailed 25-20 to seize a 2-0 advantage. The contest was then sealed as Alpha prevailed 25-11 in the third stanza.
The tournament continues today at the same venue with another league encounter.
