Castrol Strikers thrashed Venguy 3-0 when the Demerara Volleyball Association’s (DVA) Senior Men’s League continued last evening at the National Gymnasium, Mandela Avenue.
It was a clinical performance from the experienced Strikers outfit, which was highlighted by their dominant showing in the first set as they prevailed 25-12.
Strikers then doubled their advantage as they won the second stanza in an equally comfortable fashion, 25–15. The contest was then sealed in the third outing, following a 25-20 score. The tournament continues today at the same venue with another league encounter.
