Lawrence Fanfair, a 38-year-old taxi driver was allegedly shot by his brother on Thursday night at their Lot 21 Castello Housing Scheme, La Penitence home during an argument over a woman. The suspect is yet to be arrested while Fanfair is hospitalized in a stable condition.
According to the police press release, the incident occurred due to a dispute that arose between the two brothers over a woman who Fanfair was in a relationship with. At the time of the argument, Fanfair was sitting on a chair outside of their house. During the heated exchange, the brother reportedly pulled out a gun from his pants waist and fired a shot that hit Fanfair in his left thigh. Fanfair managed to escape. He was subsequently taken to a hospital. His condition is listed as stable.
