Dear Editor,
In what can be seen as an admission, some of the US$27m generators purchased with much fanfare came with problems, preventing connection to the national grid. With blackouts continuing, now, a two year deal is about to be signed to rent a barge from Turkiye. So more money to be expended as measures are ramped up for the ailing power company. Will the generators purchase debacle see head(s) roll or the very minimum removed from serious decision making?
Sincerely,
Shamshun Mohamed
