Mark Chester, a 29-year-old labourer of Queenstown, Essequibo Coast, was charged yesterday with the attempted murder of Marlon Jones, a 45-year-old man of Lot 2 Queenstown, Essequibo Coast.
Chester appeared at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Tamieka Clarke where the charge was read to him. He was not required to plead to the indictable offence.
The prosecutor objected to bail, and he was remanded to Prison. This matter will be heard again on April 30, 2024.
The incident occurred on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Queenstown village, Essequibo Coast.
