The Athletics Association of Guyana will be sending a mixed relay team of six athletes, three males and three females, to the World Relays slated for the Bahamas on May 4th and 5th.
The team will see overseas-based World U18 400m Silver Medalist Daniel Williams in action along with Malachi Austin and Arinze Chance, while Kenisha Phillips, also based overseas, will join forces with local girls Tianna Springer and Aliyah Abrams.
The team will be accompanied by Coach Johnny Gravesande, along with a team manager and physiotherapist to be named at a later date.
The World Athletics Relays will be held at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau and is the crucial Olympic qualifying event for the world’s top-performing athletes from more than 40 countries.
