The Combined Campuses and Colleges Marooners lead the Guyana Harpy Eagles by 142 runs as the match is evenly poised at the conclusion of day two of the Cricket West Indies Four-Day Championship at the Frank Worrell Memorial Ground, Trinidad and Tobago.

16 wickets fell on the day, as the Harpy Eagles, who were in pursuit of CCC’s first innings total of 200, were dismissed 223, with Raymond Perez and Tevin Imlach scoring 62 and 55 runs, respectively. Avinash Mahabirsingh snared an impressive 8-51 to reel in the Harpy Eagles, who seemed destined for a big score after starting the day’s proceedings on 114/1.

Guyana then pegged back the Marooners at 165/7 via their spinners. Kevin Sinclair snared 2-29, while Gudakesh Motie and Veerasammy Permaul tallied 2-40 and 2-44, respectively.
