LUCAS STOCK INDEX (LSI)

The Lucas Stock Index fell 0.687 percent on the sale of 49,104 shares during the third period of trading in April 2024.  Five stocks were traded this week and the activities produced no Climbers and two Tumblers, resulting in the index losing over G$5B in value.   

The stock price of Banks DIH (DIH) fell 3.571 percent on the sale of 45,843 shares while that of Demerara Bank Limited (DBL) fell 0.279 percent on the sale of 228 shares. 

In the meanwhile, the stock price of Caribbean Container Inc (CCI), Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) and Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (BTI) remained unchanged on the sale of 875; 1,958 and 200 shares respectively.
