Dear Editor,
The house building company sought to put the cart before the horse in the case of the land application which was refused (SN April 23). So why did the matter end up in court if the company knew the land application was denied and refund was the only course of action left? It admitted it took the client’s money without due cause as no land was available for construction.
This transaction leaves a bitter taste and a blot on the company.
