Minister in the Ministry of Public Works Deodat Indar this morning berated several delinquent contractors for delayed roadworks.
Accompanied by Permanent Secretary, Vladim Persaud, engineers, and the clerk of works, the Minister reviewed each project that was delayed.
A release from the Ministry said that Indar expressed the concerns of residents that roads have been scarified and left unattended, resulting in the slothful pace of projects.
The contractors were urged to complete the projects within the coming weeks.
