Well known banker and member of the Cheddi Jagan International Airport Board of Directors, David Ramdeholl has died.
In expressing condolences to the man’s family on his Facebook page President Irfaan Ali recalled that he was “an outstanding banker, community worker and citizen”.
Ramdeholl was the Credit Manager at Demerara Bank and also a board member of the Guyana Rice Development Board (GRDB).
The Ministry of Public Works lauded Ramdeholl’s significant contribution to the advancement of the airport’s modernisation.
“Mr. Ramdeholl was a dedicated individual whose efforts were crucial in the advancement of the airport’s modernisation. His wisdom and positive impact will be greatly missed as we strive to progress our nation,” the Ministry’s Facebook post said.
The deceased was also praised for his professional and exceptional banking skills, by Chair of the of the airport’s board of Directors, Sanjeev Datadin.
“Mr. Ramdeholl was more than just a colleague; he was a man full of strength, wisdom and kindness within our organization. His dedication, professionalism, and warm spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know him. As a longstanding member of our team, Mr. Ramdeholl’s contributions were invaluable, leaving an indelible mark on our hearts and in our memories,” the Demerara Bank’s Facebook post read.
The GRDB in its post praised Ramdeholl for being a valued member of the Board.
“He was the Chairman of the Finance/HR Sub-Committee of the BoD [Board of Directors]. He will be dearly missed,” the post added.
