Clifton Hinds, 38, of Sarah Johanna Squatting Area was granted bail in the sum of $500,000 when he appeared before Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Diamond Magistrate’s Court on a charge of felonious wounding.
It was alleged that the offence was committed on Colin Fraser, a 29-year-old labourer on April 5, 2024 at Sarah Johanna, East Bank Demerara.
When the unemployed Hinds, who was arrested last Sunday, appeared in court, he pleaded not guilty. The matter was adjourned to May 31, 2024.
