Cricket threat CARICOM security agency advises of possible terror threat to T20 World Cup: CARICOM’s agency for crime and security has advised regional governments of a possible Islamic State threat to the upcoming men’s T20 World Cup in June which will be played in Guyana, other parts of the Caribbean and the United States.

St Vincent PM says former CDB president did nothing wrong

(Trinidad Guardian) St Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves says “unsuccessful attempts” had been made to impugn the character of the former president of the Barbados-based Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) Dr Hyginus “Gene” Leon, whom he described as “a distinguished son of our Caribbean civilisation from St Lucia”.

The Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) has served notice to the public over the seizure of a go-fast boat on March 29th, 2024, warning that if it is not claimed within 30 days it is liable to be disposed of by the Minister in such manner as may be prescribed.
