Western Tigers defeated Den Amstel 4-2 in their final match of round one in the KFC Elite League yesterday at the National Training Centre, Providence, East Bank Demerara.
Randolph Wagner bagged a brace in the fourth and 67th minutes. He was supported by the combination of Rashawn Ritch and Andrew Murray Jr., who scored in the 17th and 81st minutes, respectively. For the losers, the duo of Samuel Robinson and Rondell Hutson found the back of the net in the 39th and 80th minutes, respectively.
The second round of the competition is scheduled to commence on May 25th.
