Forlorn:

An entry in the Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce’s 58th Anniversary of Independence Photography Competition. The location is Mocha, East Bank Demerara and it was described by photographer Ghomattie Persaud as follows: A creek, a mirror of blue-green, was bordered by rows of brown trees that stood forlorn. A solitary boat caught between floating and sinking. The scene was haunting yet beautiful. (Ministry of Tourism, Industry and Commerce Facebook page)
