Dear Editor,
The PPP should be commended for dropping its Marxist-Leninist tag which ruined its (PPP’s) success in getting a fair deal for the exploited. The tag was, and perhaps still is a noose around the party’s neck. However, the PPP needs to continue to upgrade itself and Guyana, and prevent those from outside Guyana, inside Guyana and within the PPP, from prolonging the fleecing of the needy Guyanese majority.
