Yesterday at the Ministry of Health’s Conference Room, 45 healthcare providers from across Guyana embarked on a training programme in Tropical Chronic Disease Research, to enhance their skills to effectively tackle chronic illnesses.
A release from the Ministry of Health said that this programme is a partnership between the Southern Medical University and sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China. Through a hybrid approach, the training sessions were set to commence yesterday and conclude on May 31st, 2024.
