Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Coopera-tion, Hugh Todd on Thursday met with Linda Sobeh, Non-Resident Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Guyana during an official visit by her to this country.
Accompanying the Ambassador was Ambassador Imad Alzuhairi, Head of the Palestinian International Cooperation Agency (PICA), and Assistant Minister for International Cooperation.
During the visit, four Memoranda of Understanding were concluded between the two countries to enhance bilateral cooperation, as well as collaboration in the areas of agriculture and health, a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The delegation also met with President Irfaan Ali, and other members of the cabinet.
