Bartica wins Region #7 Playoff in U-15 Girl’s Football

Bartica Secondary won the Region #7 playoff, defeating Three Miles Secondary 3-0 in a three-match series when the Blue Water Shipping Girl’s U-15 Football Championship continued yesterday.

In the first match, Bartica defeated Three Miles 3-0. Nerismar Williams bagged a double, while Nicole Joseph scored once. In the second fixture, Bartica edged their opponent 1-0. Joseph recorded the only conversion of the encounter.

In the final encounter, Bartica edged Three Miles 4-3. Williams bagged a brace, while Keilys Williams and Joseph netted one goal apiece. For the loser, Nickisha Persaud recorded a hat-trick.

Bartica Football Association (BFA) President Alden Marslow confirmed that, due to the small number of schools in the district, it was decided that the two teams contest a series to determine the winner of the segment.
