Five persons perished this morning in a crash at Long Creek, Soesdyke-Linden Highway.
The police identified four of the dead as: Russhell Leacock, Eddo Leacock, Urani Hall and Dwaylon Farrell.
Four others were injured.
The police this afternoon issued the following release:

A fatal accident was reported at about 08:20 hours on Monday 13, 2024 to police in Regional Division 4’B’, which is said to have occurred at Long Creek, Soesdyke Linden Highway.
Two motor vehicles proceeding in opposite directions were involved with at least five (5) persons pronounced dead.
Four (4) other individuals who were traveling in those vehicles are currently hospitalised undergoing treatment.
